Our magnetic field is a very dynamic system and not a bar magnet that can reverse directions. In the drawing to the left, "B" is the current direction and "I" demonstrates the direction of the north pole. This is the "Right Hand Rule Theory." In the video I demonstrate how magnetic fields work and the correlation with our planets rotation and gravitational forces moving tides and weather system from west to east. Using a globe, you place the palm of your right hand on California and your fingers towards Florida and your thumb points to our North Pole. This is known as the "Right Hand Rule Theory" and the Earth conforms to this law.

The magnetic field is a very dynamic system and is maintained by the flow of pressurized liquid magma flowing around the core. As our planet warms there are more storms and energy exchange, and increasing energy around the core will strengthen the magnetic field and resist more incoming energy. If the planet was to cool, energy flow would decline resulting in a decrease in energy flow weakening the field and allowing more solar energy to pass through. This is a self correcting system.
